Limiting oxygen index

The oxygen index is the measurement used to determine the inflammability of a material and consists in measuring the quantity of necessary oxygen to maintain the flame : the more the quantity in the blend, the more resistance to the flame. The index of the ®  fibre is highly superior to the other fibres in the market, with the exception of the mineral fibres, the oxidized fibres and the metallic ones, according to the attached table.
